12 And so, dear brothers and sisters,[a] I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.[b] 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
Romans 12 vs 1 – 2 (NLT)
To show off the benefits of our Christian life we must renew our mind. Verse 2 of Romans tells us to allow God to transform us into a new person by changing the way we think, which tells me that whatever is written the word, is up to us to make proof of it. You must decide to present yourself as a holy sacrifice. Remember as a born again the devil has NO CONTROL of your life but to know our authority in Christ, we must sit down with the word.
So how do we renew our mind? Reading His(God’s) word daily, consuming christian books and podcast that in fact strengthen our spiritual life on a daily basis. Psalm 119 vs 9 (KJV) says 9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
