As a christian you are a giant and you must take your authority in Christ Jesus. Sometimes we get tempted to just watch things in our life go astray. Most times it’s because we are spiritually weak. You must remember that the devil is like a like a roaring lion (1st Peter 5 vs 8) and you must resist him. In fact verse 9 of 1st Peter goes on to say Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
Signs That Your Spiritually Weak
- You find it difficult to pray
- Difficulty in fasting
- Occupied by everything canal
- You find it diffficult to win souls
How To Awaken Your Spirit Man
1. Constant fellowship with God
If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth – 1 JOHN 1:6 (NIV)
2. Reading the word of God
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart – Hebrews 4:12 (KJV)
3. Praying
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost… Jude 1 vs 20 (KJV)
4. Fasting
And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting – Mark 9:29 (KJV)
5. Winning Souls
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise – Proverbs 11:30
