Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
Luke 22 vs 42 (KJV)
Life will surely take you through challenges but your focus determines your victory. We see in the passage above how Jesus when faced with a challenge saw victory ahead so He faced it. Without His death on the cross we wouldn’t be worthy to be called sons and daughthers of the Lord.
Most times when we are faced with this challenges at any point in out life, we are tempted to whine about it, look for anyone who would bear audience as we explain our issues in extensive details. It doesn’t mean we shouldn’t talk about it, but it’s always good to keep in mind the term ‘nevertheless’ – although I’m faced with these challenges (a certain illness, unemploymeny, etc. nevetheless I know God will see me through.
In the book of 1st Corinthians 16 vs 9, it says, For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries (NKJV) which means the chalellenges aren’t the problem, you must go back to your drawing board and fasce it. .
However, you must be in the camp of God to be empowered to make the right decision, to do so confess this words: “Lord Jesus, I ask that you come into my heart and be the Lord of my life from this day forward. I confess with my mouth that you are Lord of my life, and believe in my heart that God raised you from the dead; therefore I declare that I am saved.”
